Strategic Planning
The school district's Board of Education has engaged in systematic strategic planning process for several years. This process utilizes information from each of the four schools within the district as well as information from various stakeholders throughout the Hillsdale community including students, parents, community members, local government, business/industry and a variety of local service groups. The intent is to accurately assess what is currently happening within the district, sustain the positive attributes and target specific items for enhancement or improvement. The Board monitors the plan's progress throughout the year in committee groups and work sessions. This approach has positively contributed to the district becoming a highly successful system in three areas; academics, arts and athletics.
